KEN JALLEH JR

EDITORIAL DIRECTOR

A journalist of more than 30 years, Ken's key skills are in writing, editing, design and simplifying complex issues for a broad spectrum of society.

He is founding Editor of two newspapers — The New Paper on Sunday and Streats — and a socio-political magazine styled on the Economist called Lexean.

He began his career in The Straits Times and was in the team that launched The Singapore Monitor and The New Paper, where he has held a variety of senior editing positions.

He is an accredited Associate Lecturer at the Civil Service College and head trainer with STJobs.

 

Genevieve Chan

Deputy Editor

Genevieve is skilled in writing, editing and conceptualising content that reach and resonate with the right audiences.

She began her career as a sub-editor at trade magazines for industries like broadcasting and retail, before moving on to writing. Since then, Genevieve has developed content for brands across formats, from short videos on social media to reports on technology and its impact, and led numerous multi-platform campaigns. She enjoys distilling complex topics into accessible and meaningful content for readers.

Her articles have appeared in publications such as the Straits Times, the Business Times and Quartz.

 

Marcus Han Poh Tin

Deputy Editor

Marcus, who spearheads Chinese-language content creation, is a seasoned media specialist with over 20 years of experience across print, television and digital platforms.

He began his career as a crime reporter before progressing to the role of court correspondent for both Lianhe Zaobao and Channel U, a Singapore Mandarin TV channel. Later in his career, he delved into business reporting for Lianhe Zaobao, honing his expertise in conducting in-depth interviews with senior executives from diverse sectors.

His background and experience enable him to simplify complex concepts and translate data into relatable insights for readers, putting them at the centre of his work.

 

Pradip Kumar Sikdar

Visual Strategist

Pradip brings 25 years of visual design expertise, working with various newspapers and magazines, including The Statesman (India), The News Express (Brunei) and Singapore Press Holdings' The Straits Times, Business Times and The New Paper.

He won the International News Feature Design awards (EPPY) for Rohingya campaign.

He has been Art Director leading a team of designers, and conceptualising visuals on a variety of content.

 

Jeremy Theseira

Content Strategist

A rookie journalist, Jeremy's writing career began in the sports sphere, writing for luxury golf titles Golf Vacations and Golf/Women.

Over the last two years, he has undertaken a wide range of assignments such as curating stories, conducting interviews, conceptualising website content and managing social media platforms. He has also worked with numerous luxury brands to deliver content derived from their marketing objectives.

Jeremy is a contributor for Swing, a monthly golf special featured in The Straits Times and The Business Times.
